Admission Requirements and Procedures

The Admissions Department is composed of well trained admissions representatives prepared to assist any prospective student seeking an education in the allied health careers offered by Professional Training Centers.

Professional Training Centers requires that all applicants for enrollment be beyond the age of compulsory school attendance (age 18) and/or have a high school diploma or GED.

All allied health students must provide the School with proof of having taken a physical exam that shows that they are in good health or a signed affidavit. This documentation must be provided at the time of registration. In addition, the student must have an up to date physical to be accepted in the externship portion of the program. If a student is seeking credit for previous education, a transcript or diploma must be provided before any credit can be issued. Proof of legal status and an official photo ID are also required. Each prospective student must attend the student orientation, scheduled before every class start.

Note: A list of books, average cost, and supplies will be given to the student together with their class schedule at the time of registration. Student liability insurance (during clinical experience) will be provided by Professional Training Centers.

Graduation rate, retention rate, placement rate, and crime statistics are available upon request.
