GENERAL / CORE PROGRAM
GENERAL / CORE INSTRUCTOR
Prepares lesson plans and instructs students in specified field of study. Administers and evaluates student progress and performance throughout length of specified program.
- • Recommends new instructional ideas and learning tools for the benefit of the student body.
- • Encourages student participation inside the classroom.
- • Motivates student to pursue chosen field of study outside the campus.
- • Conducts scheduled classes in a timely manner.
- • Prepares and maintains course outlines and objectives and lesson plans.
- • Instructs and evaluates students and reports progress.
Requirements:
- • Masters Degree in Science, Mathematic or equivalent.
- • 2 years of teaching basic sciences, biology, physics, mathematics and/or related programs.
- • Knowledgeable of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic counseling.
- • Must have an ARRT.
- • Bilingual is a plus.
GENERAL RADIOLOGIC PROGRAM
GENERAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY CLINICAL COORDINATOR
FULL-TIME
The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for the following;
- • Monitoring of student progression through discussions with the Clinical Instructors and staff Technologists.
- • Ongoing case review and critique sessions and case presentations.
- • Read all materials and provide feedback, ideas, and suggestions to further enhance the Program's Clinical component.
- • Supervises schedules and assigns duties of student externship functions and is responsible for the administration of Professional Training Centers' student and / or personnel policies.
- • Ensures that all safeguards, documents, and valid identification of student externship program complies with all accrediting institutions and those set forth by Professional Training Centers.
- • Maintains a direct contact with site affiliations and aptly uses professional discretion to enhance a working relationship with area hospitals, clinics, and / or medical centers.
- • Gathers completed evaluations during regular clinical visits and meets with each preceptor to discuss student progress and issues related to the clinical site.
- • Updates and maintains student clinical files and monitors competency attainment.
- • Directs the collecting, analyzing, interpreting and presentation of all general functions of affiliated sites.
- • Attends health care exhibitions, seminars and is consistently involved with all hospital sponsored activities, in order to enhance educational clinical rotations throughout affiliated sites.
- • Bilingual is a plus.
GENERAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTORS
Prepares lesson plans and instructs students in specified field of study. Administers and evaluates student progress and performance throughout length of specified program.
- • Recommends new instructional ideas and learning tools for the benefit of the student body.
- • Encourages student participation inside the classroom.
- • Motivates student to pursue chosen field of study outside the campus.
- • Conducts scheduled classes in a timely manner.
- • Prepares and maintains course outlines and objectives and lesson plans.
- • Instructs and evaluates students, and reports progress.
Requirements:
- • Must have graduated from a formal General Radiologic Program.
- • Must have at least a Bachelors Degree. Masters Degree preferred.
- • Must demonstrate three years experience in the Radiologic Technology field.
- • Must have an ARRT.
- • Bilingual is a plus.
DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHY (DMS) PROGRAM
DMS INSTRUCTORS NEEDED FOR THE FOLLOWING SPECIALTIES:
- • Prepares lesson plans and instructs students in specified field of study.
- • Administers and evaluates student progress and performance throughout length of specified program.
- • Recommends new instructional ideas and learning tools for the benefit of the student body.
- • Encourages student participation inside the classroom.
- • Motivates student to pursue chosen field of study outside the campus.
- • Conducts scheduled classes in a timely manner.
- • Prepares and maintains course outlines and objectives.
- • Instructs and evaluates students, and reports progress.
Requirements:
- • Must have graduated from a formal DMS Program.
- • Must demonstrate three years experience in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography field.
- • Must have a registry.
- • Bilingual is a plus.
